Amy Yiu is a registered dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator who is dedicated to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized nutrition counseling in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She co-authored the cookbook
"Dietitians at Home" and founded Libra Nutrition in 2008 to inspire others to adopt healthier lifestyles. Amy hosts a monthly radio show on Fairchild Radio AM1470. Recognized as one of the Top 10 Dietitians by Today’s Dietitians magazine in 2023 and a UBC Hall of Fame Alumni award recipient from the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in 2024, she actively promotes healthy eating and community nutrition health. Since 2021, she has conducted over 60 diabetes education classes at CRC Health Centre, teaching more than 600 patients and their families.
