Flax Date & Walnut Granola Bars

Yields: 35-40 bars

• ½ cup Alligga Flax Seed Oil
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• ½ cup Alligga milled flax seeds
• 1 ½ cups dried medjool dates
• 1 cup unsweetened dried coconut
• 1 ½ cups water

• Preheat oven to 325F
• Add 1.5 cups of water to the Medjool dates in the pot. Bring it to a boil and cook for 5 mins on medium heat. Puree the dates in a blender
• Mix together all of the ingredients and press onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet
• Bake until dried and slightly golden brown
• Cool the granola and then cut into desired bar sizes
• Place the cut granola bars back onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and bake again at 300F until desired dryness (bake longer for crisp granola bars, less time for softer granola bars)
